Vintage Ploughing
Rules and Regulations

 

1.         It is the competitors' responsibility to comply with Health & Safety Regulations. 

2.         All ploughmen must hold public liability insurance cover.

3.         Ploughmen must produce evidence of the age of their tractor if requested. 

4.         TRACTORS AND PLOUGHS:

TRACTOR      model to have been in production before 31st December 1959
 
PLOUGH         any make of trailing plough.
 
 

Text Box: MOUNTED PLOUGH CLASS
 
TRACTOR      model to have been in production before 31st December 1959
 
PLOUGH         any mounted plough in production before 31st December 1959 
 

5.         Plough bodies designed for the plough at the time of manufacture. 

6.         Skimmers and one piece tailpieces optional - no other attachments allowed. 

7.         Mounted class - slotted or quick entry top links allowed. 

8.         Hydraulic rams and hydraulic top links not allowed. 

9.         Depth of ploughing - 6 inches minimum. 

10.       Tractors - Approved manufacturers diesel engine conversions allowed. 

11.       All other SEVAC ploughing rules must be adhered to.
